I finished another frock!
It's a naughty one, in a way, as this is actually a lining fabric, but a sturdy one, and far too pretty to just be a sad arse old lining!
It's a little slippery to wear, but I so love the print!
Opshopped, of course!
I wore it for date night on Thursday; we went out for dinner, which is becoming quite the regular!
I also wore:
Jacket-made it myself years ago using a 70's pattern
Belt-opshopped
Tights-retail
Shoes-Trade Me
Handbag-60's, opshopped
Sunglasses-Etsy
Necklace and divoon 60's brooch-from my sistercousinwife!
Flower-from the local chemist
Petticoat-barely seen, opshopped
That's a native flax behind me, with the big spikey flower stalks!

Beautiful print, love the lil detail on the neckline and that plant is gorgeous xxx
Your brooch, your brooch, oh how I love your brooch.
Ooh, you have the sexiest legs, my dear! Rowr! I am in love with that beautiful pink jacket. The lapels just make me want to stroke it.
Totally delicious! Love that jacket - very clever! xx
I'm feeling all fluttery and swoony over this outfit, it's hot , floral flirtatious all at the same time. I can't say anything more than it's FABULOUS.
Pink and yellow are so bloody good together, and I totally agree, it would be a sin to hide that fabric away as a mere lining - it's gorgeous! And yay, we get to perve at your fabulous pins!
What did you have for your date night dinner? We have got into quite a habit of going out or getting a takeaway on a Friday, lovely.
You look beautiful among the greenery bathed in sunshine. Love you! xxxx
lovely dress, I like that bit that's folded over at the neckline. It is too pretty for a lining
Be still my beating heart … that handbag is the BEST!
xx
Oh you tease me so with your tapestry handbag my lovely, it's time I unpacked my handbags for a slobber. Meanwhile, I'll just satiate my yearnings by dry-humping the keyboard over your DIVINE new frockarama!!!!! xoxoxoxoxooxoxoxox
Hell yes, far too pretty just to be a lining. Love what you did with it (that little flap on the neckline)and you made the jacket too! Divoon tapestry handbag, the perfect type to swing at some whipper snapper, Dick Emery style.
the pink jacket is to dream of! pretty in pink indeed xxx
What a stunning look!
Love the brooch, neckline and that shoes are so gorgeous.
Lovely dress with beautiful print <3 Big love for that look dear!!
Photographed from certain angles, you do resemble an actress of the 40s, the patrician Patricia Morison. Noticed this while viewing her in the appropriately titled "Dressed to Kill" (1946). Do find a copy and see 54:14. The hair!
By the bye, she's still working at 98!
I LOVE this outfit!
The print on the dress is amazing as is the neckline detail!
That bag! You have the best bag collection, but the flower ones are always my fav's. xx Shauna

Ooh, you are naughty...but i like you! Fiona's comment has made me come over all Dick Emery. As for Vix commenting on your native bush, well, words fail me.
