After all my endless whining about the lack of Summer, it finally turned on the good weather just in time for the holiday season!
It's been so fecking lovely, having a little time off work, being very lazy and pottering about with my G.
He is finally able to ride his bike, and even walk short distances!
If there is anything I would hope for the new year, it is that he makes a full and complete recovery from that nasty ruptured achilles and that the future is injury free!
I never make new years resolutions, as the very second I try and stick to anything drastic or generally annoyingly virtuous, I am compelled to do exactly what I am trying not to do and therefore fail and feel miserable.
Why set yourself up to fail?!
Feck that.
Sustainability is the name of the game, whether it be life changes or shopping choices.
Rock the hell ON!
Have a splendid New Years Eve, whatever you decide to do.
(I'll be impressed if I make it to midnight)

You look like you live in a posh gated home now, perfect!! Yay for G being able to join in on walking and riding, he best not do it again had he. NYE, could be asleep when that happens!!! Enjoy the sunshine darling while you are able to!!
PS: I could be first today! Whoop!!

Glad to see you enjoying the sun and to hear Mr G is getting better. Here's to a marvelous 2015. x x
Sunshine and a non-crippled G, things are looking up over there in NZ! I hope you have a happy new year lovely! And be sure to wear all your most marvellous sparkly things too! xo
I'm glad you've had a touch of summer just in time for the holidays. How I am longing for the winter months! What a long road for G-Star. My torn posterior tibial tendon in my foot took so long to heal, that's why I have to wear sensible shoes even now. Xx
you look like a charming fairy... all the best wishes for you both in 2015! xxx
I see you've found the perfect background to accessorise with again -- your dress matches the sky and your hair matches that roof. :)
I love those grand gates and that fabularse frock. You look positively regal, my darling.
Hoorah for good weather. Seeing you basking in sunshine makes me happy.
Here's hoping G's back to full health in 2015, it's been bastard ages, ay it?
Happy New Year! Love you! xxxxxx
<3 The Passenger! One of my favorites! 70s does 30s (dirrrrrrttttyyy!) is such a great style, it looks comfortable AND elegant! Yay for G getting back to himself; it's a total drag hobbling around -- I had 2 foot surgeries years ago and it took FOR.EVER to heal. Hope your New Year is relaxing!!
"...and all of it was made for you and me"
I forgot-you get NYE first over there, so happy New Years, and yes to G's continued recovery.
I was just wondering how your summer weather was coming along. We're getting -8 F today, which I think is like -20 C. Gawd, it was awful just typing that. I'll just admire your lovely self in your summery dress and hope for the thaw. I still want to know what Dr. Helga keeps in her magic bag!
Here's to a happy and healthy 2015!
A vivid blue dress for a vivid blue sky day! It's a brave finish to a very challenging year for you and G. May the New Year 2015 bring you both only happy adventures!
I'm so glad to hear the weather has been fecking lovely! Your dress is fecking lovely too!
How beautiful the blue gowned you and the sky, Helga!!!
I don't' do resolutions either -because I'll beat myself up horribly if I fail at them.
Wishing you a wonderful New Year, and here's to a complete recovery to G!! xoxox
I couldn't agree more about New Year's resolutions.
You are looking lovely in your blue.
I do hope the New Year brings a full recovery to your man and good health, love and happiness for the both of you!
bisous

You're blue like that glorious sky! In the midst of freezing cold days here, and so envious of warmth.
A very happy Christmas to you and G, and all the best for the New Year!
You look so glamorous in that dress!
I'm glad that G is recovering. Will you two go dancing as soon as he's healed up?
Happy New Year to you both!
I raise a glass for G's full and complete recovery ASAP. I'm glad he's back on wheels again and can walk short distances. Cause for celebration.
You look like the lady of the manor here. But I know that your guests would have waaaay more fun.
I'm glad the weather has cooperated with your holiday! Happy New Year!
You look gorgeous in the dress! Hope G makes a full recovery soon!!
Oh dear! It's been such a long recovery for G! You look stunning my dear!
Ahh, that is a frock after my own heart, darling - as are your thoughts about New Years resolutions! You look glorious in blue, and look at that sunshine - it's about time.
Yes, I hope G is back to fighting fitness and stays injury-free, and that you have a lovely new year.
Loving yoooou! xxxx
Frocking Frockstar vision for the New Year. You don't need to make any resolutions Darling 'cos you're fecking PERFECT!
Gorgeous gates, gorgeous you, here's to another year of having fun and looking wonderful. If it takes moaning to get good weather, then it's worth every whinging word. The sunshine looks lovely from here. I'm so with you on the sustainability front. It guides me a lot. Good for G, he's working hard bless him. Hope he is all better by autumn. Happy New Year sweetheart. Xxxxxxxx
So gorgeous... looking fabulous as ever darling :)
My attempt at sustainability this year is to use up some of my stash and to *try* not to add to it (too much)!!
Happy New Year, Ms H VonT! You look stunning in that frock-the bright blue colour and the lines of it are both fabulous on you. It's so lovely to see warm, sunny days and pretend I am there instead of here feeling damp and cold. I shall be dropping by for a drink soon. Glad to hear G is doing better. What a long recovery it is!
xoxo
What a pretty frock! I hope you and G had a lovely New Years Eve (regardless of whether you made it to midnight or not!)
Glad to hear that G is recovering and that you have been having some sunshine to I cant wait for the summer to come round not that I am wishing 2015 away already. You look gorgeous as ever. Heres to a wonderful 2015, dee xx
What a romantic gown! Hope your year is off to a great start!
So glad that G is recovering nicely, and I agree that 2015 should be injury-free. I don't make New Year resolutions either, as I end up blowing them in the first few weeks and feeling like crap because I couldn't keep them.
Here's to a healthy, injury free 2015, loaded with a pile of vintage delights. As always you look mesmerizing. Mesmerizing!
Nice colour!
Happy New Year :)
Happy and very belated New Year! apologies Dear Ms Trollop, you are as exquisite as ever, the maxi is divine, so good to hear G is on the mend too - I don't do resolutions either, the right time tends not to be Jan 1st, change happens when you are good and ready I find (I made it to midnight apparently, don't remember it though) x x x
Ay say Jeeves, Jeeves! Drat it where is that man?
Hmm, these gates could do with a polish. Ay must get the maid on to it.
Ay went with the blue today, to honor the sky that is finally clearing.
If that man doesn't arrive soon, ay shall have to walk! Horrors! Ay will rest here on this bench looking glorious to cheer up the peasantry, what!
(And the rest of us! So pleased for G and yourself that things are on the mend)
Chin, chin from across the pond. xo Jazzy Jack
